Pitch-perfect example of Cabernet blend from the Yarra Valley. Blackcurrant, blackberry, so much violet here, and spiced cedar oak. Medium-bodied, dark fruit with some redcurrant in the mix, tobacco and pencils, silky tannins, fresh too, with a firm long finish. Delivers so much flavour without being heavy. Beautiful.

2016 Stefano Lubiana Sparkling Rosé, TAS (Certified Biodynamic and Organic) 94 points.

The bead, glimmering with a gorgeous pale rosé colour, is fine and persistent and aromas of creamy red berries surround you with hints of cherries, raspberries, wild flowers and pastries. The palate is sumptuous and lingering, with great structure and subtle tannins.
